My faith is not something I separate from the rest of my life. It shapes the way I think about family, business, leadership, service, responsibility, and the example I want to set for my daughter and the people around me.
I am an active member of Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Largo, Florida, and I am grateful for a church community that continually reminds me that faith is something we are called to live out through the way we treat people and the way we serve others.
That same idea is reflected in Rotary’s motto, Service Above Self. Different organizations may use different words, but the principle is familiar: leadership means more when it is connected to service.
For me, faith begins with family.
As a father, I want my daughter to see that faith is more than something we talk about on Sunday. It should influence how we treat people, how we handle responsibility, how we respond when someone needs help, and how we use the opportunities we are given.
I do not claim to have everything figured out. I am still learning, still growing, and still trying to become better at living what I believe.
But I do believe that the example we set matters.
Faith does not make difficult decisions disappear.
If anything, it creates a higher standard for how we should approach them.
I try to lead with honesty, accountability, respect, and a willingness to listen. I do not always get every decision right, but I believe integrity requires being willing to correct course when necessary.
Whether I am dealing with a business issue, an organization, a community project, or something personal, I want my actions to be consistent with the values I say I believe.
Indian Rocks has become an important part of our family life and spiritual foundation.
The church emphasizes loving God, loving our neighbors, connecting in community, and using our gifts to serve others. Its public Serve resources encourage members to put their abilities to work in the life of the church and the broader community.
My daughter and I have served as greeters, welcoming people and helping create the kind of environment where families feel at home.
That may seem like a small role, but I believe service often happens through small, consistent actions: welcoming someone, helping someone find their way, showing up when help is needed, or simply treating people with kindness.
Rotary has given me another meaningful way to put service into action.
Belleair Rotary’s mission is built around Service Above Self and local projects that support youth, education, community improvement, first responders, seniors, nonprofits, and humanitarian needs.
As President of the Belleair Rotary Club for 2026-2027, I want our club to continue growing not only in membership, but also in the amount of good we are able to do together.
Service becomes more powerful when people work together. One person can help. A group of committed people can create lasting impact.
Over the years, Belltech has had the opportunity to work with businesses and organizations throughout Florida and beyond.

Some relationships have lasted for many years.
That matters to me more than simply counting projects.
At the end of the day, I do not think success is measured only by business growth, titles, followers, awards, or how many people know your name.
Those are the questions that matter more to me as I get older.
Every day is a blessing, with all thanks to God. I want to use those days well.
I have been fortunate to serve through business associations, chambers of commerce, Rotary, church, community organizations, youth programs, veteran-related events, charitable projects, and local initiatives throughout Pinellas County.
I do not see those activities as separate from leadership. I see them as part of it.
A title may give someone responsibility. Service gives that responsibility purpose.
The organizations I am involved with are different, but many of them share the same basic goal: bring people together, strengthen the community, and help others succeed.
Community service has also brought me into contact with veterans, first responders, nonprofits, schools, youth programs, local families, and organizations working every day to help people who need support.
I have learned that meaningful service does not always require a huge program. Sometimes it is volunteering for an event. Sometimes it is making an introduction. Sometimes it is helping raise money, promoting a cause, donating professional services, or simply being willing to show up.
I believe the best communities are built by people who are willing to participate instead of waiting for somebody else to do the work.
I also believe business owners have an opportunity to serve.
Local businesses create jobs, support families, sponsor schools and teams, donate to nonprofits, participate in community events, and provide resources that many charitable organizations depend on.
That is one reason I have always believed strong businesses and strong communities belong together.
When we help a business grow, there is often a larger effect than the business itself. That perspective has influenced my work through Powered By Belltech, the Bluffs Business Association, local chambers, Rotary, and my consulting relationships.
